INDEPENDENT CEE CEE RIDERS

Name Definition:

Independent - Free from the influence, guidance, and control of another.

Cee Cee - An abbreviation for Charles County

The Independent Cee Cee Rides began in 1990. The club was derived from the combination of two separate clubs, the Cee  Cee Riders who had been around for some tine and the Independent Riders, which formed two years ago prior to the merge. The Cee Cee Riders had suffered a significant decrease in membership over the years and most of their original members faded from the motorcycle circuit. The Independent Riders was predominately new and still trying to find its  direction. However, the two clubs shared all allegiance to one another due to several friendships between members of both clubs. The clubs spent a lot of time fellowshipping at the same events, that it was inevitable that the two clubs would become one. Discussions began to merge the two clubs into one stronger club. They decided not to pattern ourselves after any of the other established club sand vowed to ourselves that no matter what we would always make it  fun it be a part of this organization. We also vowed that the club would never forget the need to give back to the community and would always lend a helping hand when needed. These gifts are achieved through charitable donations ax well as hands on labor. The Independent Cee Cee Riders still has very strong root d in Charles County, Maryland even though its members are spread over Southern Maryland and Prince George's County. To define the Independent Cee Cee  Riders would be to say a group if fun loving individual determines not to be influence by others and dedicated to  giving something back to our communities.
